For applications where the vibration isolation requirement is not critical, spring vibration isolators can be installed directly beneath the horizontal water pump.
In vibration-sensitive areas with higher isolation performance requirements, it is recommended to install a vibration damping pedestal, which can theoretically achieve up to 98% vibration isolation efficiency.

Vertical Water Pumps – Vibration Isolation Recommendations
Vertical water pumps have a relatively high center of gravity. To reduce the overall center of gravity of the vibration isolation system and improve operational stability, it is recommended to install a vibration isolation pedestal (or vibration isolation base/bench) during vibration and noise control construction.
This configuration enhances system stability and ensures more effective vibration isolation performance under operating conditions.
If the base plate of the water pump is sufficiently large, the ALJ-38 rubber vibration isolator can be installed directly.
If the base plate size is too small, it is recommended to install an adapter plate first, followed by the ALJ-38 rubber vibration isolation mount, to ensure stable installation and proper load distribution.
